Sheep in a box
Well Dersu is 5yrs old and he sent me drawings he has done for the past year. It reminded me of "The Little Prince" and how the author cannot draw a sheep, so he draws a sheep in a box
I have painted a "Sheep in a Box" for Dersu. Happy birthday !
This is the painting I have done for Baby Bo. I thought you might like to see one framed.

Thanks Dad. Dersu likes it very much.
Also, the problem was not that the author couldn't draw sheep, it's that every sheep he drew didn't match up with the sheep the Little Prince was picturing in his mind. So, finally, he drew the "sheep in the box", and the Little Prince said, that's exactly what I wanted.
I asked Dersu about the author's "drawing number one" and Dersu said, "an elephant in a snake". So I guess children really do see things differently than adults.
