Albert Einstein autographed book

This is a very rare autoghaphed book . It is Number 10 of a limited edition of 760. It is signed by editor Paul Schillp and Albert Einstein.

The pages have water damage and slight bug holes on the title page but otherwise the book and binding are complete and intact.

Paul Schillp gave this to my stepfather's mother in 1950. Now my stepfather Dan Haight is giving it to my son David.

Quite a gift !

Wow, that is fantastic...you should take it to the antic roadshow that is televised on PBS and determine its value.

Not only is it autographed by Einstein, it is also autographed by the author, Paul A. Schilpp, with a personal comment to Grandpa Dan's mother! I was so excited, I checked this book (later edition) out from the library to get a "preview". It is very interesting to read his commments regarding the incompleteness of the statistical quantum theory. This was one point on which he never agreed with the rest of the mainstream physisists of his day. Even today, people tend to see this as his one "fault". Hence the famous quote "God doesn't play dice with the universe."
I don't know. I think he was on to something, but it wasn't his time yet.
Anyhow, I am very grateful to accept this book.

Thank you Grandpa Dan.

David.
